Memberships lapse 12 months after initiation. Membership becomes inactive after 30 days of lapsed dues.
New members can pay online through the Membership Page. Renewing members can pay using the Member Portal. Other payment methods are by check with the Treasurer, or through Zelle. Please see the Financial Secretary for details.
Lifetime dues are set by NBNA. Annual chapter dues are still required of Lifetime Members. As of 2024 National Lifetime Dues are $3000 plus processing fees.
For membership purposes, only prelicensure nursing students are eligible to be Student Members. For scholarship purposes, students at any level of nursing education are considered.

A formalized mentorship program is still in development. Informally, you can meet members at our monthly meetings, annual events, and community service opportunities.
All are welcome to join our chapter meetings. Members can use the Member Portal to find out about committee opportunities, community service events, and open board positions.
The chapter meets the second Saturday of the month at UCSD East Campus. Please check the calendar for exceptions and details.
