SDBNA
Academic Scholarship
The San Diego Black Nurses Association Scholarship is open to nursing students at all levels, including Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and those pursuing advanced degrees in Nursing.
Applicants must commit to maintaining active chapter membership in the year following the scholarship award.
Scholarship application review is holistic, considering academic performance, community service in alignment with SDBNA mission and vision, career aspirations, and essay submission.
Recognizing that membership dues may be burdensome for students who wish to become involved in SDBNA, a limited number of membership reimbursements are sponsored each year.
Applicants with paid memberships who have demonstrated active participation in meeting attendance, community service events, and committees may apply for reimbursement of membership dues.
National Black Nurses Association
