ROSE M. JONES, LVN

I became a member of the San Diego Black Nurses Association in January 2004 with great anticipation. And began immediately serving on the pray breakfast, nominating committees for one year. Continued to serve with the Community Health and Sunshine committee's. I was appointed chairperson for the community Health Committee from 2006-2008, which was very fulfilling. 1993.

have been in the nursing profession for 36 years, working in Oncology, Neurology, Orthopedic services as a License Vocational Nurses. I retired on January 7, 2008.

I am so honored to be selected for the Nurse of the Year for 2009..
